T-Ball Season is Back

What a day for T-Ball. Yesterday was the season opener here in York. Olive Wu, my goddaughter, took to the field of boys with her pink bat and glove. Being the youngest on the team, she was determined to show the older kids she meant business. I think she made her point clear.

Santa Monica’s Finest

I came across this guy a couple weeks ago while on a shoot in California. By the coolest street performer I saw all day.

Ivan Roose

Watch out for this kid roaming the backwoods of Vermont. Bad-ass and on a mission!

“The Present” in Portland Maine

If your in the area this week, be sure to head to Corduroy Surf Boutique on Thursday for the premiere of Thomas Campbell’s The Present.

There will be drinks, music, raffles and more. I’ll be raffling off a large canvas print and Grain Surfboards will be there with boards to check out and products for the raffle.
Hope to see you there, should be a great night!

Bags, Bikes and Popsicles

Last week I found myself in a variety of different shooting environments, none of which were my staple, surfing.g. Bailey Bags and Ello gallery collaborated again for another great night. Selected artists were each given a Bailey messenger bag and told they could basically do whatever they wanted to it. Add on, deconstruct…you name it. Some really great results came from it. Next was a full day BMX shoot with Sweden based helmet and padding company POC. Great crew and a really fun day filled with an amazing sunrise, some downtown Portsmouth time and a few sessions at Rye Airfield. Thanks to Erin and crew for making it successful. Next morning I was on a flight to LA to shoot a giant melting popsicle for Bounty paper towels. After a full day of shooting people, melting ice, and laughing at Jon Boyer in Santa Monica, it was back on the plane for the red-eye home. Thanks again to Josh and Lindsey for making it happen. You guys are very tolerant. Here’s a look at some outtakes from the week.

Bowl-O-Rama Extravaganza

What could be better on a Monday night. A little candle pin bowling for Amy’s birthday. The colors and characters inside this place were pretty amazing…I just couldn’t stop shooting.
